Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Event Pass Ghana ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use our platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Event Pass Ghana. Please read them carefully before using our services.

Account Registration and Responsibilities

Account Creation

To use certain features of our platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate, current, and complete
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Keep your password secure and confidential

Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activities
• Inactivity for an extended period
• Providing false or misleading information

Event Tickets and Bookings

Ticket Purchases

When you purchase tickets through our platform:

• All ticket sales are final unless otherwise specified by the event organizer
• You must provide accurate information for ticket issuance
• Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly allowed by the event organizer
• We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets
• Duplicate tickets will not be issued

Ticket Usage

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to:

• Use the ticket only for the event it was purchased for
• Not share, sell, or transfer the ticket unless authorized
• Follow the event organizer's rules and policies
• Present valid identification if requested at the event
• Not use the ticket for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Event Cancellations and Changes

Event organizers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify events. In such cases:

• The event organizer will determine refund policies
• We will facilitate communication between organizers and attendees
• We are not liable for event cancellations beyond our control

Payments and Refunds

Payment Processing

Payment processing is handled by Paystack, our trusted third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you agree to Paystack's terms of service. We are not responsible for Paystack's actions or policies.

Refund Policy

Refund policies are determined by individual event organizers. Unless otherwise specified:

• Tickets are non-refundable within 7 days of the event
• Refund requests must be made through our platform
• Refund processing times may vary depending on payment provider
• We may charge a processing fee for refunds

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback without a valid reason, we reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your account
• Report you to relevant authorities
• Pursue legal action to recover costs

Organizer Responsibilities

As an event organizer on our platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete event information
• Honor all ticket sales and fulfill your obligations to attendees
• Communicate event changes or cancellations promptly
• Handle refunds according to your stated policy
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use our platform for illegal or fraudulent activities
• Pay any applicable fees to Event Pass Ghana

We reserve the right to remove events or suspend organizer accounts that violate these responsibilities.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use our platform to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt our platform or services
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data
• Create fake accounts or provide false information
• Engage in fraudulent ticket sales or scalping
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use our platform for spam or unsolicited communications

Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content on our platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by Event Pass Ghana or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

By uploading content to our platform (e.g., event images), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content for the purpose of providing our services.

Event Content

Event organizers retain ownership of their event content. By listing events on our platform, organizers grant us a license to display and promote their events.

Privacy

Your use of our platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

As-Is Basis

Our platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of our platform or the information, content, or materials included on it.

Event Quality

We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of events listed on our platform. Event organizers are solely responsible for their events.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Event Pass Ghana shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of our platform.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Event Pass Ghana, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of our platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you submit to our platform

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our platform shall be resolved through negotiation in good faith. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Ghana.

Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Event Pass Ghana regarding your use of our platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
